You and I

We are two drops of water
in an immense ocean,
Two leaves of trees
without roots
deep in the ground;
Like two migratory birds with wounded wings and broken hearts
we fly through space and time,
But you know,I know... We both need love.

Although sometimes the life played with us
and took us on separate paths... Even if we have forgotten about us when the pride was greater than the love... Even if the distance and the silence
they put up a huge wall between us,
I know that someday
we'll be together again, because one without the other we cannot live.

You are my light in the dark, My wonder, my rare flower,
I am the blue of your serene sky, Your warm breeze of summer,
You are my beautiful rainbow which appears after the rain and storm, I am and I will be your infinite source
of love and happiness.
