You lied to me

You promised me your love
and faithfulness for a lifetime,
You told me
that I'm everything for you
But you lied and hurt me so bad,
In return of love,
You gave me only suffering.

It hurts so much your absence
and I'm sad,
My soul is torn of pain
and hurt so bad,
You broke my heart in pieces,
You threw all in the trash,
The fire of our love and desire
was turned into ashes.

It hurts so bad your silence
and indifference,
In exchange of light,
You give me darkness,
In exchange of my love
and my devotion,
You give me back only hate
and unhappiness.

I don't know anymore
when it's night or day,
I cry and walk on the empty streets,
I can't eat and I can't sleep at all,
I can not find the peace in any way.

I know that someday
you'll return to me,
I know that one day
You'll ask forgiveness,
You will feel lonely
and unfulfilled without me,
Only next to me you will find
true love and happiness.
